883, I tend to disagree.. Most people only look at the graphics for creativity, but what about the code? You're telling me code cannot be creative? Riiiiiight.. That's a good one.. I'd say creativity = details. A well thought out skin is by far more creative than a simple skin with a wicked shape.. Unfortunately, most joe users tend to disagree since they don't really have a clue about the development of a skin.. However, that doesn't neccesarily mean usability = creativity, but it could.. they are not opposites.

Can't we stop this stupid discussion about what is/isn't creative? It's up to the user to judge whatever the skin is creative or not and what you guys have a oppinion about - so be it! Don't help much to "kill" each other by words! All, untill now, 41 skins are very "creative" and could fit into this category! The judges could have specified "creative" and that would have stopped this writting about what's what and what's not what!

I actually think that's what they should've done in the first place.. Write a description next to each category to make it clear what each category means.. I, for example, didn't have a clue what they meant by "power user" before they described it when they started judging WB skins..

yeah, and i still don't get what the difference between most usable and power user is. Because if you improve functionality of a skin it also improves productivity. Tho, my skin ain't entered in those

A better description of all the categories would definitely help. I'd like to read somewhere what the judges are looking for in each category, most of us don't really know what the other 3 are supposed to mean and people don't even agree about most creative...

As me, myself and I - said the dog - + Anemovis, Plague and 883 had scribbled about, I'll think that the "Team" who put this event together will have this in mind next time! So for now! If you win - be happy If you win...not - be happy for those who did Most of all! You all done a great job!

hey 20cecil ... it seems that this discussion is very important... we don'T try to "kill" each other with words, we try to clearify our point. but if just one side is shown, some users would perhaps vote other than if they would if they had this thought, also. plague, i think most artists won't agree with the point that coding can be creative, in fact it isn'T the coding, it's the features that become coded! sure, as mentionned before: there are mostly features which go in the category "power user", but what about CODED eyecandys?! in my own eyes, skin that just have a nice shape but no extras aren'T as creative as they could be. that's my point of view. in the end, everybody has to think him-/herself if he/she agrees or not. but you should definatly ALL think about that!
