A very strange bug!

In the game I'm currently playing, the "businessmen bahaving badly" event just happened and as soon as i clicked my response to the event, the council was convened to vote on who should host the "Galactic Games". I won the vote :d , but when the window closed my galactic view was messed up. The window to the right (mini-view, charts and news) was still showing the picture from "businessmen behaving badly".

I can scroll around the galaxy with the mouse, but I can't click anything. When I move the mouse, a picture of a planet appears where the mini-map should be and my race "logo" flickers in the left side of screen. Very weird. :p

hehe, i just fixed it! The "businessmen bahaving badly" window was still in the background so i just had to find out where the checkbox was and then where the "Done" button was and then everything was ok.

I guess it's not ok to have an event and the council at the same turn. :(

Stardock is aware of this bug. It's been around since, at least, Beta 4 and is in both A and B.

*sigh*

I have a rather old videocard :( , NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS, but I'm glad Stardock is aware of the bug.

I have the same video card and thought about upgrading but it would not be worth it.

Yeah, this is less of a video card bug and more of a "Screen Popup Order" Bug. We'll be fixing this for the next release! :)

Good to know! :)

I've been thinking about upgrading my system (P3 733Mhz, 768MB RAM), but I think I'll wait until the 3Ghz systems are less expensive.

Btw... Is the Metaverse not updated anymore?
