Make non-active/non-focus windows transparent?

Can a feature be added to make all windows but the one that is currently active/has focus transparent? If if this is already there, can someone tell me where the feature is since I seem to be missing it. Thanks.

(I couldn't figure out how to edit my post.)

Also, is there a way to make the Natural Desktop corner window transparent always? I tried to add it as a per-application transparency setting but it didn't do anything to that window.

Lucid - per application defined inactive and active transparency. might be hard to find.

http://www.actualtools.com/transparentwindow/

Actual Transparent Window has option to set transparency only when window becomes inactive. And when you activate this window it becomes non-transparent again.

I have no idea how well this works, but there's a 60 day trial...

Here's a freeware one, FocusAlpha: http://www.marcandre.info/focusalpha.php

Works quite well -- except that it affects LiteStep screen elements as well, so I ended up not using it. Maybe it works better in Explorer, I don't know.

I just checked out the Actual Transparent WIndow app........ it doesn't play nice with any other program that uses alpha blending. In my case that was ObjectDock, Samurize, Rainey, and WindowBlinds....... sigh

Well, I'd obvously prefer it was built into WindowFX and played nice with others... I guess I'll just hope for it to show up in a future release.
