"Challenge Everything"

Am I seeing things, or does the current web poll just have one choice to vote for? Or put more simply, has Stardock been bought out by EA? If I wanted to see that kind of stuff in a forum, I'd just go out and buy (insert gagging, retching sounds here) an EA game.

Incidentally, with respec to the poll, I don't much mind the way Stardock distributes updates, but I am against the Stardock Central thing for picking up betas. I find that I can wait for the final patch just fine, and I don't need the grief of the extra software just to get incremental patches. So, I like it when Stardock releases final patches, and those final patches have been of high quality. I don't like the beta patches as much, and I don't use Stardock Central to get them.

Oh, I see, now. I think I must have logged in just as the poll was being created. Now there are more choices. Well, the choices make things a bit clearer:

I certainly do not mind entering my serial number to get updates. If this makes life easier for Stardock and harder for scum-sucking, sea-urchin software pirates, then I am all for it.

Um, you know you can set Stardock Central to not show pre-release software, right?

I do not like StardockCentral either, because hey, I am not insane enough to use a Windows-computer WITH access to the internet. No Sir, never. Paranoid? Yes Sir, and proud of it!

Heh, the first firewall program I installed on my PC correupted my windows registry and I had to reformat. Yay for using something like Firefox instead of IE though.
