Custom Minors

How do I edit minors?

I have seen in the forums that people talk about "custom minor races". How do I make them? I have even looked on the galciv wiki and found nothing.

Can someone fill me in about this "custom minor race" thing and tell me how to edit a minor?

Same way you edit a major. raceconfig.xml, edit the files as you wish.

Well I don't know how to edit a major either. Can you tell me where it is in the galciv2 folders?

$GalCiv2/data/$language/RaceConfig.xml

Don't edit it in place if you play in the Multiverse tho, it will flag your games as cheating. Best bet is to copy the file(s) you've changed into a mod folder in the mods directory.
