Exploit that needs to be fixed.

The planet quality bonus is the most exploitable feature of the game. Basically every time you come into posession of a planet you get a 10% or 20% bonus. However their is no flag on it saying that this bonus is allready applied, so heres an easy way to exploit it that many people do. One person said, in a previous topic, he got mars up to 30 PQ doing this.

What you do is you let an alien colonise a weak planet in your territory. Then it will switch over to you, it gains the PQ bonus. After that you ship the people off the planet to one of yours, with transports, and give it back. It will switch back over to you and it will gain the bonus again, repeat until PQ >30.

Though i laugh at the fact of Mars with PQ 30-100 i think that something like this needs to be fixed.

Yeah, I saw that. I've also used that tactic once or twice to even out the tech difference between me and better empire. Offer the planet in trade for tech, get it back by culture, rinse, repeat as desired. It felt a little to much like cheating for me to do it anymore. I think it might be a good exploit to fix. Good call again, Kanaric (see AI building starbases...)

Similar to the exploit where you give the planet to an enemy with alot of tech, and have it surrounded with transports.
Can take it over multiple times and give it back all in the same turn.

Interesting idea. HOWEVER, if there is an exploit, who cares? This is a single player game and not an online game. If you don't want to take advantage of the exploit then don't do it.

What version of the game are you using? Have you tried it with 1.11? 1.2 beta?

I'm still on 1.1. I just reproduced all three ways of using this "exploit," tech trade for planet, PQ, and transports.

Sirmorte is right on the money - show a little restraint, for cryin' out loud!
