UpGrading...

I know a few differences in the regular and Collectors edition.. How can I upgrade without spending another $40.. and is it worth it??

I wouldn't bother, honestly. The tech tree poster will only be good until the expansion, at which time more techs will be added. The collectors edition 'ship jewelry' is nice, but there's been talk of releasing that to the public in a later update, and the box's shininess will only captivate you for a few hours

Oh, and theres the desktop theme, but (as much as I like it) probably isn't worth 40$ if that's the only major incentive.
