Super Projects Bug?

I just had a strange occurrence in my current v1.1 game.

I just acquired a planet that had a Hyperion Shrinker. I had previously built one of these on a different planet.

Before the acquistion, I had designed a medium hull ship using 64 out of 64 available space. After the acquistion of the new planet with their shrinker, I went to upgrade my design. Before making any changes, it now shows 71 used out of 70 available!

So I guess my questions are:

First, are multiple super projects cumulative, like having 2 Hyperion Shrinkers?

Second, how the devil does a valid design become invalid, as mentioned above? Is it just a bug?

Thanks.

The trouble is that at least some components have a static size and a modifier, a percentage of the ship's hull capacity. Since the hull capacity increases when you improve miniaturisation, this percentage size increases too, and therefore it's possible for a design to take up more space than is available.

It's very strange, I have to admit.

I think the "modifier" you speak of is the hull size category.

Super projects are cumulative I'm pretty sure... I've gotten a couple logistics thingies a couple times, but it was a while ago...

Oddly enough, the more "miniaturization" one accumulates, the larger everything becomes.
lol

bass-ackwards if you ask me...
