WindowFX 2.12 runs awful

When I load WindowFX Some effects are missed(set in configuration bu don't work), Start Menu don't opens and when I run Windows TaskManager processor usage comes up to 100% (about 30% for Windows Explorer and other 70 uses ... TaskManager itself!!)
Windows XP SP2, video GeForce6200TurboCache with detonator 81.98 DirectX 9.0c with august update.
Windows Reinstallation don't helps(I have tried with clean install, video drivers only)
Uhhhhhh, please help me.. PS Computer runs great with WindowBlinds and it has enough perfomance(AMD 2600+ 512 MB RAM)

Thanks for this but I am interesting in WHY my 2.12 do not works) and how I can correct it..

what version of WB?
WB is 5.. but I tried to run windowsFX without it..

Please be aware that WindowBlinds 5 is not compatible with WindowFX 2.11 or 2.19.

and I'm guessing anything in between

sometimes an updated driver isn't the answer...sometimes it's a rollback

Well, FX is 2.12 and WB is uninstalled fully but ... any more ideas?

I suspect your problem is the DEP feature of XP SP2.

If you disable that and reboot then you should be ok, or update to the later beta releases.

As for DEP I tried this... no effect
I have installed XP SP1 it seems to be ok with windowsFX, but.. WB is glitching))
Maybe someone can give me link(please, something forward) for FX beta 3?

I have tried to run in safe mode xp sp2 and FX runs ok. Degrading video driver to VGA in normal mode don't give results. Uhhhh.. What's such unsafe in normal mode in SP2 forces FX to run wrong??

In what way did you disable DEP? Through excluding the app or through boot.ini?
