What Happened to the Crusaiding Altarians?

What happened to the ideas in that foram post on Ethics? How you could be a Good civ but still have military might, like a crusader? Or a peaceful Evil civ? It dosn't seem as if they added this in any form to the game. If your going to be evil, you have to build up a giant fleet as every civ comes after your blood. I want to play a game as a Feringi. Evil, but just greedy, not "I WILL RULE THE GALAXY" evil.

Ferengi are nuetral not evil, They want to be allied with as many people as they can so they have more people to do business with. Rule of Acquisition number 34: Peace is good for business. Also they can get involved in wars if they want, Rule of Acquisition number 35: War is good for business. I got these rules of acquisition from armada II, I dont research these things, im not a trekkie.

Ummmm. You can be an good civ, but with massive amounts of ships. I don't see any restriction on that.

The reason that everyone attacks the evil is simple -- they're evil. Evil civs get bonuses, especially towards military power, so they need to be balanced out some way. And they're evil. The Ferengi aren't evil, they're neutral/greedy. They don't go tossing their citizens into death furnaces when fuel is low, but they don't stick their necks out for others either.

How does having a huge military make you evil? And being peaceful somehow means you can't be Evil? br/>

If I poison my neighbor he'll still die and i never laid a hand on him...no violence at all. Speaking of Crusaders; did you know that Bishops, etc sometimes travelled with huge armies all the while speading the word of Christ? No one thoght them evil at the time (except their enemies).

No, I mean like the suggestion that was in the forum a while ago, about having a 3D good\evil table. I havn't been able to track down the post yet, but I'll keep trying.
