Serial number problem - please help

Just got the game (uk normal ed) and want to update to beta. However ,my serial number isn't accepted by stardock. I can however use it to download the 1.0X version off the website.
How can I make stardock accept it?

p.s. the code converter doesn't work for me

Stupid question, did you check your code because of o (oooooohhhhhh) and 0 (zero)? Often these two are mixed up.

I have a similar problem - purchased the game today and entered the serial (which is not in the manual or on the jewel-case but rather printed on disc 2) only to find that the download centre doesn't recognise it. At all. And yes, I have checked very carefully that the 28-digit number is correct, and I have used both caps and lower-case, AND I have substituted "O" for "0" just in case -- none of which seems to work.

I can't even get the beta to download...

Any suggestions?

This one caught me out see the Link
Up on the top right corner there a link to click if you bought your game in Europe.
You need a new serial number and it will give you the correct code.

What I did was put my cd serial number by the screen and type it.Then I checked it again. That worked for me.
