Logos?

Hello, sorry if this is a double post..but does anyone have a tutorial on creating custom logo's for your race? I'm good with photoshop but dont know where to begin?

The way I do it is get the picture you want, paste it over a pre-made logo, shrink it to 256x256, and save as .png

And it's done.

It's 256x256 for race image, but the race logo is 128x128.
