I started a new game and while I was looking at the first view of my home planet the game
informed me the Drath have built a Manufacturing Capital.
How is that possible? I mean I had not even hit the turn button for the first time! Is there an event maybe that awards someone with one of these? Or is it just a fluke?

Some races start with different techs. I believe the drath do start with the ability to do that, although it's very stupid.

You can do exactly the same thing if you have the pre-req tech - just buy it outright. That's exactly what the Drath just did - but I wouldn't recommend it as it will kill your economy straight away.

But is it possible for them to do that without me hitting Turn? I guess maybe it is if the AI runs from the start up.. But their ships don't move until I turn so... Just never saw it before
