Capacity Modules

a few questions

I'm beginning to reach the "mid-game" in my first large galaxy game and a few questions have come up regarding the specfics of capacity modules.

I know that if I put two colony modules on a colony transport I can move twice as many people. However I have the following questions:

- If I place two contruction modules on a ship, will the ship be able to upgrade an existing starbase twice before being "used up"?

- On a similar note, will two or more cargo carriers on a frieghter increase the amount of cargo my ship can carry and thus raise my revenue from its trade route?

- When transfering people from one colony to another must I keep the colony transport in orbit for those being transfered to count among the population of the new planet, or can I relaunch my colony ship, set the number of colonists to zero and reuse that transport to ferry more people over?

- In a test game I created "express" freighters with a speed of +4. However once these freighters established a trade route, the mini versions that replaced them on the game map only had a speed of +1. Was this a bug or is there a speed limit on freighters once they are part of an extablished trade route?

Technically you shouldn't be able to put more than one construction or trade module on a ship. In the odd case that you manage it, there will be no difference. It just costs more. It certainly would be nice if multiple construction modules had a benefit, though. . .

Speed doesn't matter for freighters. You get a set amount of cash for the route, speed doesn't matter. Constructors etc, doesnt make a differance, still only one use. But you can relaunch a colony with one person, yes

Speed only matters on freigters while getting there to set up the route.

However other thingsseem to work - at least sensors. I have strated putting more sensors on them becasue it increases theeir view when deep in AI space. I am going to try shields next to see if that increases their survivabily a bit - at least it may force the aI to use a better ship to kill it thus taking one away from the front lines so to speak.
