Awe... what happened to the Stardock sucks post? That was pretty funny!

I have a quick question. Beta is testphase right? Occasional glitches that can and will be fixed over time.

So what is retail?

The post was removed as it was totaly pointless! Had the poster at least incurred some reason behind the post, or at least had some vallied reason for the post then we will happily let someone post like that as every person is entitled to their opinion.
However that post was none of the above and so was removed!

Aw, I didn't even get to read it!
Retail is the version to be shipped, this is the "full" game, version 1.0
The other versions are "alpha" (early test phase, normally only programmers do this, so they can fix stuff themselves)
the "betas" (Where they take suggestions as well as bug fixes from a wide group of people
and occasionally "Gammas" (where it's pretty much the final game, just stuff not implemented but ready)
As I say, retail is after the initial testing, 1.0
any finalised after that are "Full Updates"

Didn't see that. How about we start a list , where we each list one good reason why STARDOCK SUCKS:

Reason #1. The atrocious and horrible way Brad Wardell invests his personal time and energy into listening to is customers is one good reason why STARDOCK SUCKS.

Heh, it was pretty funny. I've beta/alpha tested several times, and I know what I'm getting into. Some people just don't understand and try to get the "latest patch" without thinking that maybe "beta" means it's not done?

Sheesh, the nerve of some people.

nah... it's just silly people like me that buy a game from Best buy thinking it will work when I load it... I mean geez, what was I thinking? I'm such a n00b. Yes I still have my graphics prob, no I will not post my err log... AGAIN. I sent it to Mike at Stardock for him to ponder over his Monday morning coffee. I'ma have to call him bright and early to give him a Monday morning ra ra speech. Or not. Anyone find a fix for the text blurring / streaking? No? Didn't think so. My own programmer buddy didn't find anything either. Must be those pesky gremlins again.

The post wasn't pointless.

It was an educational piece of work that should be used in "moderator schools" as the perfect example of a "bait post".

Oh! And Stardock Sucks, because it is making Starforce look bad.

WTF?! no multiplayer?!!! and the games still brokes. I downloaded the latest patch and now it won'tz works. I hve grphx problems but don't think I should have to update my drivers things again I already did taht!!!!1111 Stardosck sux0rs! 4 real. Glad I downloaded da game from starforce's website for free !!!!! russians rox.

Stardock sucks because their game won't work with 4 year old video drivers, and because they release betas with bugs in them.
