No Button Text

Just installed 1.10[b2].010 to find that the text is missing from ALL buttons on the interface - starting with those on the main menu screen. Any ideas?

I ran into this as well. Text was missing from the buttons on the opening screen as well as all of the text on the options screen and start new game screen. I first noticed this when I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it on another drive and installed the first beta patch. I tried installing the 1.0X patch thinking that it might help, but it didnt. I ended up uninstalling the game again and (although I am wary of suggesting this) went through the registry removing everything that had galciv2 in it. I then reinstalled the game and the beta patches (did the fiirst one and then 2A came out and I installed that thought StarDock Central) and havent had a problem since.

I have the same problem. Whew, glad it wasn't just me. I called Stardock and they told me to DL SP2 since I don't have it. (so now I spent 160.00 on a legit code.) Then wipe and reinstall all my vid drivers. I'm thinking now this is a software issue on their end and not mine. Hopefully this will get their attention now so they can fix it.
This game is quickly costing me over 200.00 so I hope it gets fixed ASAP.

Uhh , how did u manage to spend 160 on SP2 its free dude?

Lets just say my copy of XP is questionable. So I had to pay to make it legit.

You're trying to blame Stardock for having to buy XP so you can update to SP2 since you can't update your stolen illegal version of windows?

I wonder if this person's copy of GalCiv 2 is "questionable" as well.
