Choosing Character after game?

Not sure if it can be done, but I would like to post a game under a character name I didn't even have when I started the game.
Can that be done?

If not, I will likely "reset scores" for that character. If I am guessing right, that deletes all previous games scored for that character, allowing you to start over, right?


Any help much appreciated.

Just to clarify, I want to change the character before the game is submited, I am not interested in changing what I have already submitted.

I have such a ridiculously High score in this game I played that I don't want it diluted by the other scores. Yes it says total score, but its an average, not a total.

If I have to I will reset scores for that character, but want to make sure that will even work before giving up all these pretty medals

I don't think you can choose your character after starting the game. My reasoning being that playing a metaverse game is considered a 'sandbox' game, where all the rules are the same for everyone. No mods allowed, no cheating, etc. SG does not want someone playing a game with potential cheating and mods, and submitting it under a metaverse character.

Ok, I can see why they would do that, I figured as much.

My other question... resetting your score.... does it do exactly that?
In other words I could delete all my other scores and then submit this game as that characters only score?

actually if you start the game and then close out and start again by loading a save, when you finish the game you will have to log onto the metaverse to submit the score and after you click yes it will say you have to log on, and i would guess you could log on using your other name maybe, but i dont know.

The average is actually the square root of the number of games you have played. So it won't dilute it as much as you think. (If you played 9 games, it would add the scores of the 9 games up and divide by 3.)

I really want this to be a stand alone score, bad enough to erase my medals.

I am trying to make a new account, perhaps that will do it
