b2 download issue

I''m trying to download the beta2 from SDCentral but I keep getting the following error according to the log:

Download: C:\DOCUME~1\Josh\LOCALS~1\Temp\sdcentral\Base\Gfx\ s\planets\Earth.png_ 0 | Attempt 1 | -14 The Url is invalid

It appears to me that the directory between "Gfx" and "planets" should be "Infoicons" but is instead " s".

Any thoughts?

I'd love to give the beta2 a try but the SDCentral download is still flaking out on me.

I cant get Star dock to download the beta 2 update either. I would love to try it. I dont know why they wouldnt put it where they normaly do. It makes more sense to put the download into the download section. I guess life never gets any easier.

just kidding. I hope they decide to let us petty owners who dont get access to the stardock downloads even though we have the serial number ( STARDOCK SAYS ITS INVALID BUT ITS THE ONE ON THE BACK OF THE GAME CASE ). HHHMMMMMM . I love the game though. I have only run into 2 big issues. 1. the turn button goes away and wont come back, and 2. the great game crashes, but I have found that if you use the space bar for the turn issue, and save often the issues arent too bad.

Sorry for the bump spam but am I the only one who hasn't got the beta2 from SDC? Every time I try and download it, it errors out at the same file with the same error message mentioned in the original post. I have to assume that this is repeatable for anyone as it's not a serial number issue or a machine config issue, the install script is hosed.

Anybody with experience as to how SDC updates work care to comment?

Well, the SDC download has changed, but it is still erroring out with the same error. It now downloads quite a bit, proceeds to the 71% point and stops with the following messages in the log. It still seems to me that " s" ought to be "InfoIcons". Anyone else get this or care to comment:

Well, clearly no one else cares, but I'll continue talking into the void:

SDC downloads continue to not work. The first beta downloaded successfully, since then nothing. Beta2, Beta3, changing the download server, clearing the cache--zero,zip,zilch. The error remains the same and it is 100% repeatable, installation log follows:
