I'm new to the community and proud owner of the German "Limitierte Auflage" Amazon delivered today.
(to be honest.. I got a pirated copy from a friend first, when the demo was not yet available.. but considering how much fun the game is and considering the DRM-politics of stardock, it was simply a MUST-BUY for me. Thanks again, stardock, for your decision to say "NO!" on that DRM-bull.... and for that great game, which i think of as the first worthy successor to MoO2 after all those years...)
I already read about the current issues with updating the German Version and this post isn't really about that (Still, I look forward, to a better 1.1 german version) as I currently play my game set to english language and I'm ok with that at the moment.
Its just a question on how the download-section for the updates should look... When I first entered both of my serial-numbers, my browser showed an error message and when i tried again 2 minutes later, I just typed in the collectors Edition Serial, leaving the other box blank.
Now, when i click the links for retail updates or Collectors Edition stuff, i always get a site containing 3 downloads which are the Bonus Content, Collectors Edition stuff only and the Desktop-Thingy...
Is this correct? From what I see, the currently latest (stable) update is included in the Bonus Pack... Or are the "retail patches" downloads missing, because i did not enter anything in the "normal" serial-box.
I bet, I screwed it up, right?
