Lockup / Freeze

When Loading after picking AI opponents

Ok here goes,

Playing Metaverse Game
Choose Medium size Map
Conquest Victory
Habitable Planets - Abundant
Number of Plantes - Rare
Number of Stars - Occasional
Star Density - Scattered
Anomalies - Abundant
Technology Rate - Normal
No Tech Trading

Now everything is going fine, I choose my race and customize it.

I get to choose Opponents, I enable RANDOM Races and choose NINE (9) opponents.
Click Next and the game just sits there.

Pretty much does this on any size map and settings when I choose Random Races and Nine Opponents.

Any Ideas?
-EDIT- Running 1.1 Beta-1 btw...

Hmm, might be a problem with the Beta. You can rule out these two problems though:

-Your newest video driver at this Link

-Your newest audio driver at this Link

-Did you have these problems with the 1.0X patch?
-Do you get the same problem running in window mode?
-Can you launch a campaign scenario?

I'll be gone for the next few hours, hopefully someone else can follow up, or just bump your reply

Ok after updating the Drivers it still happens.

1) It did NOT happen in 1.0x
2) Same problem in window mode
3) Yes I can launch a campaign scenario

Here are the NEW debug.err info

If you don't use random opponents do you have that problem? If not than it's some kind of bug with the random opponents functions or try to click next the next time you try it maybe it's because there's no auto-next step.
make sure yopu have the latest cpu driver (check the sticky on the main forum page). If you're gettign stuck at loading, try reducing the number of opponents, reducign galaxy size, and turning off random civs. THat should speed up loading.

Yeah, if you can narrow down if it is a new feature or not, you can report it in the beta sticky. Looks like your system is set. Hopefully with your help they can iron this one out if it is a bug.
