Spy report - enemy tech list

If there is such a feature, please enlighten me. There's a way to see what the AI is currently researching but with Tech Trading disabled, it would be mighty useful to be able to check what kind of technologies the AI currently has that you dont. This could be nicely tied in with spying, as this info could become available only at High/Advanced levels.

Could some of the levels of spying reveal parts of the map the race you are spying on is familiar with? I often get advanced spying on races before I have mapped out all of their space. So, despite the fact that I could see the details of every single one of their planets and stardocks, I still don't know *where* they are, and can't click on them because they aren't on *my* map.

Nice. Would it be possible to allow for zooming in and zoom out on the tech screen also?

You would think that an alien race would respond *somehow* to enemy ships in their controlled space, especially if they're nearby one of their worlds. Remember MOO2 diplomatic screens where you could say "move your ships out of my space" and also receive this message? That kind of stuff can start a war

alexwest: That can be done...I'll put it on the suggestion list.

tripp: Not by my mortal hands I suggested it before Gold, but the smart coders said it'd be too tough to do right, so I sulked back to my corner of the office.

serratemplar: There have been many suggestions on this matter....mostly relating to starbases. We'll see if we can fit something it without destroying the balance of the game (and see if it even fits into the schedule)
