So for those of you who follow the Battletech universe, which AI would you match to the following empires to simulate the closest behavior? Help me out here. Re-use AI's if you have to. (My pick is in the parantheses.)

The Arceans as the Federated Suns? You're kidding, right?

They're much more like the Drengin than the Combine. But you're probably a FedRat, so from your perspective, the Fourth Succession War was justified, right?

Old-school Comstar/Word of Blake are much more like the Yor. But none of the races in GC2 really would be considered similar to the WoB.

LoL, well, I sort of started out that way. But after I really got into the fiction I went fanatically Capellan. I sort of pictured the Arceans as the way the Davions picture themselves. As for me, it's Crazy Cappies all the way.

Prince Hanse Davion was the greatest of all. after his death it all went to hell.

Drengin are chaotic evil usually. The Draconis Combine isnt evil really (that would be Capella imo or at least their degenerated leadership).

would be cool if we could mod the AI behaviour for this

If we wanted to make this more like BTech, we'd have to have the unkillable hero unit (Victor), the mad sister unit and the bomb at your mom's press conference event.

It's all about Sun-Tzu Liao! Nothing tops the Cappies! Twenty year recovery? Get back their entire territory again? Trinity Alliance? While I love Victor Steiner-Davion, and even Katherine (I also refuse to call her Katrina), nothing tops that take over of Tikonov and House Hiritsu. Sun-Tzu dead by Wobblies? Not likely! Nothing says Capellan like fighting to the death.

But you've gotta read the Drath Legion's description. The puppeteer behind the machinations. If that's not just about every Liao out there I don't know what is.

I'd love to work on a Battletech mod for GalCiv 2, but I'm not in position to be project lead at this point. Anyone got the organization skills to head this up?
