No it doesn't - unless someone's seen it hidden away in the xml and is not activated.

As far I know the "life force resource" did never make it in GC1. It was just an idea which was never implemented.

In galciv1 manual it was listed as a galactic resource!!!!!!!!It's very hard to find!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was never actually implemented in GC1. As with the current game, the manual isn't always the most reliable guide to the gameplay!

Just as an aside, if there had been a life force resource in GC1, it would have been impossible to balance. Planet Quality was EVERYTHING in GC1 - it helped morale, taxes, production, research. Giving 1 player +50% to PQ across their empire would have basically meant GAME OVER for everyone else.

It was listed in the manual but it was never activated in the game.

I once read somewhere that the basis for Moral mines was life extention material but the Galactopedia now says it is happy gas.

It's a great game but the devs don't take some of this minor stuff very serious and the descriptions can mysteriously change from time to time

That stinks.Never activated that sad.All that exploring in big galaxies is in vain.O well me going to attack the freezer.

The life force resource was removed from GC1, because it was WAY too powerful. They didn't put it in GC2 for the same reason.

My Galciv1 manual is out of date.O well to bad.
