Update Help!

Stardock central issue?

I purchased the retail version from amazon.co.uk and it duly arrived the next day in its lovely shiny metal case etc (woohoo!). Game installs and plays fine and I can access the CE content on galciv2.com using my serial. However, when I try to register that serial with Stardock Central so that I can get the updates it says that it is an invalid serial.

Any thoughts?

I can take photos of my jewel case and receipts if proof is needed....

Hey Hi, this is not meant to be smart but check that the selection dropdown in SDC shows this game and not something else. IIRC it defaults to TGNET which of course won't work with a GalCiV II serial #.

When I bought my copy from amazon.co.uk I had to go to here.....

...to get a valid serial number that would allow me to register the game.

I seem to be having the same problem. I went to that paradox subpage and inputted my email and my code but it's not saying that BOTH the codes I enter to download the files are invalid. I have no idea what I can do next...

*sigh* well I think I've got it. everytime I put my codes into this website it gave me the error messages so I downloaded Stardock to try there but I kept getting the same problem. turns out I needed to put in my Collectors edition SN rather than the number on the back of my manual. So I guess I owned myself here just hope it downloads now

Glad that you are now sorted - I too went through more trauma in trying to register the game than I have in learning the fundamentals of playing
