Finding Percursor "Ranger"-Class Ship

If you are lucky you will able to find a "Ranger"-Class Ship while playing, the longer the game lasts, the better your chances to find one, at least I have this feeling.

Well, if you take a look at this ship once you found it, I noticed it has like 55 Missiles and Droid Sentries as Missile Defense on it.
For some reasons, those are not used Only the Beam- Weapons/Defenses) are used.

Anyone else noticed that?

It's kinda weird. When I found it the ship only utilised mass weapons and armour.

ROFL!! For my lucky ship, it used only missiles to take out star bases and beam weapons for ships - YMMV

Yes this is a commonly know bug and is currently on the to-do list. Hopefully it will be fixed in the 1.1 update.

They're too powerful even as is, and pretty much obliterate game balance whenever they show up. A random event should never be enough to elevate a civ from 9th to 1st all by itself.
