Shipyard CTD

I was saving a ship in the ship designer then the game CTD. The ship was a tiny hull with a pylon on either side, and Ion engine, and two Mark IV Rail Guns. I clicked save it crashed back to the desktop. Didnt even give the option for the description.

I have also been having trouble with components not being removed from the ship when in the ship builder.

I am getting the CTD in the shipyard too.

I get to the description bit, but when i save on there, it just comes up with a Fatal Exception (send error report) and after all that, it goes to the desktop.

VERY ANNOYING!!!

I have:

AMD AthlonXP 2600+
1024MB DDR PC2700
Nvidia Geforce 6800GT 128MB AGP

It has crashed other places too, i think it is my machine, since other games have crashed too.

Can anyone give us any advise.??
