Best Planet Special EVER!

Hope this hasn't been discussed already :)

Just started my new metaverse game, large map with uncommon settings for everything.

My homeworld has one square with 'precursor mine' +700% manufacturing output

Also has a +300% and +100% farming output squares.

Pity it's only quality 10

What's the best planet special people have seen?

In one miraculous game i stumbled upon a class 26 planet, when i moved to colonize, it gave me a planet event with the sponges and i wiped them out for a nice 38% boost to planet quality...

What's more, i had the precursor mine you found (700%), rare resources and minerals (%300 and %100), +%100 research, and two fertile fields worth +%100 each...

Needless to say i saved the beginning of that game with that planet for posterity...

Are you referring to best planet tiles or events? There is a difference.

The coolest "event" I've had when colonizing was related to developing a chemical that brought the dead back to life to use as troops in your army, that was too cool. The UNDEAD live!

In my first huge game that i'm currently playing, i'm just ending colonization the phase. I did very slow tech, 9 normal AI, abundent planets and stars (scattered). Besides the few 4-6 class planets left, almost every planet is colonized. I had a colony ship on the opposite side of the small section that was left to colonize. By the time it could cross the map to reach a habitable planet, that planet would surely be taken. There was one planet (unexplored) nearby that was bordered by 3 other races that wasn't colonized yet though. I decided to send my lonely colony ship to check it out. When he got in sensor range I saw 2 class 10 planets and a class 26, but also another colony ship headed to the star. Luckily, My ship was faster and I grabbed that class 26. While I didn't get an event to boost the quality, I had researched ethics right away (very slow tech took forever but instantly having mostly class 18 planets was worth it for the strategy i'm using) and chose neuttral, so now I have 32 workable tiles turn make this planet a super economical capital.

I am guessing that was the "evil"option, with the good option not using the chemical. What was the neutral

My best gem of a planet had 1 700% Manufacturing, 1 100% manufacturing, 2 100% happiness squares, 1 100% influence square !!! It was an 18 to start. It was the gem of my empire!

The wierdest event was an economic boom that lasted 1 TURN. I got the message at the start of a turn, did my moves, hit TUrn and got the "it has ended" message... It was a bit of a boggle.

I just got my best one ever. It only has a planet quality of 9, but on it it has a 700% research bonus, a 300% research bonus, a 300% manufacturing bonus, a 100% manufacturing bonus, a 100% food bonus, and 100% influence bonus.

Best i've ever seen in my games. I've never seen a 700% in any planet! WOO!
