BUG: Influece

Very Weird

from GalCiv2 Forums
Ok, so I was playing along fine, my first game on "normal" and I got somewhat far, but then, after a turn the Yor gain influence over the WHOLE galaxy. I figured it was a bug, reloaded, but this time it happened again with another civilization. I doubt that this is a feature, so, did anyone else run into this? I have a saved game, but don't know where to send it.

Same thing happened to me, the Altarians' influence swamped the whole map. I also have a saved game if the devs need it.

This happened to me once in beta. Not that pointing that out helps you or anything, but it did...

Happened to me where a race's influenced jump a fair bit, not enough to take the entire universe, but from 1/3rd of the map to 1/2 (not a lot, but substantial compared to the usual jumps) and taking most of the other races' influence as well. Although this might've been because of something he acquired, so I assumed it wasn't a bug, just a jump in culture due to something or other...

I've seen something like this. The insects' (don't remember their name at the moment) influence covered most of the map and was pushing back both my empire's territory and the territory of the Arceans, even though both I and the Arceans had much higher influence according to the influence graph.
