Do Basic factories give the production bonus?

Huh? Your question seems a bit weird.

The way it is intended to work (and does AFAIK) is as follows: Building a factory (10 production points, let's say) on a +100% production tile gives you 20 production (with 100% spending on 100% MilProd, of course).

and a manufacturing capital on a production bonus? what kind of bonus does it gives?

manifacturing capitals increase overall prodcution of a planet by 50 percent if I remember correctly.

Thats something I was wondering too actually.

Does building a "capital building"..like the manufacturing capital on a manufacturing bonus tile.. increase the benefit of the manufacturing capital? or are you better off building the capital on a normal tile and putting a factory on the bonus tile?

btw.. I had a class 8 planet in my last game that had the 700% manufacturing bonus on a tile.. that planet was CRAZY.. I could build just about anything i needed in 1 turn.

No, it doesn't increase - the capital building doesn't produce anything itself so it's not getting any bonus production.

Well the production bonus seems to be missing after the latest patch?
I have planets with 300 and 700% prod bonus, if you look at the figures there is no difference from a standard tile?
However it appears to work for food.

Ok guys,
I just worked out the following:
4 Factories + colony gives 10+10+10+10+12=52 However, one of the factories is on a +300% tile so this gives a further 30 (I think) giving 82. playing as the humans I am on a 30% militarty bonus giving +24.6 for a total of 106.(rounded down?)
Guess what? when I max the sliders for 100% prod and Military the world produces 106. So err its not broke.

Yep, you figured it out. The bonus isn't always shown everywhere but it's there.
