Very nice.  There is now a screenshot library available too if you want to put it there as well.

Thats great, but I still wish that either:

A: Weapons would be turreted

or

B: Ships would orient themselves so that their weapons are facing their target when they fire.

IRT Tandis - Metaverse galactic library? I've got a bunch of screenies already here on the forums that could use some consolidation.

EDIT:

IRT Sephlock - Initial tests with this had it orient itself a bit before firing the weapon I had attached to the main gun slot. Admittedly, though, I was shooting at a starbase, and not something moving.

Nah. My battleship hull looks more like a train:

One silly question:
Where do you take that screenshot from? From the 3D-Map? From the battle viewer? From design screen?
In your screenshots the ships have nice light effects with the colored lights. When I design a ship the color lights ar only color spots, they don't appear to emit light...

There is no built in Screen shot utility in the game, at the moment, but you can simply hit the print screen button on your computer. then open any bitmap editing application, such as paint, and paste it in.

However there are a tune of screenshot aplications out there. do a google surch for make screenshots and you will find something.

The shipyard and design screen are usually the places I take my screenshots.

Wow! I haven't had a game long enough to get me past medium sized hulls yet, and I think I'm doing good to put some wings and an antenna with a few lights or something on it. Your ship looks so good, I'll bet you shed a tear when it gets defeated.

When the main gun is fully loaded with weapons modules, it doesn't lose.

Thank you.

Hey Ordo, load up the Battle of the Gods scenario in sandbox mode and you'll have access to all the hulls. Pick your race.

Is it steam powered ?

No but given some time and thought, I bet I could cobble together something more H.G. Wells...

I intend to, along with the rest of the fleet. I need to make the following ships:

Troop Transport
Freighter
Bomber
PT Boat
Corvette
Destroyer
Cruiser
Carrier (Dependant on some XML tweaking).

I'm making roughly one a night.

There is a satellite dish included in the collector's edition components. Go to your generic tab under extras and scroll down into the collector's edition components (they're all together). The satellite dish in in there.
