Crash-tastic

i don't exactally know what happend from the first update to the game, but now my games just don't seem to want to play for longer than 3-4 turns before giving me a nice CTD. perhaps the devs put some bad code in there or something? but seriously its nigh unacceptable to be gaming and then crashing more than 85% of the time.

I (as many others) didn't encounter this problem, but with all the different PC configurations out there you can always have bad luck and run into some weird problem which makes a game that runs fine on some machines crash often on others.
If you want it fixed, the best thing you can do is provide Stardock with detailed information (system specs, crash logs etc.) so they can look into what is causing the crashs on your machine and fix the problems.

Hi, you might want to make sure you are running with the latest update, too. I believe the current is 1.0D1.008. I

If you don't have it installed already pick up Stardock's SmartException https://www.stardock.com/products/smartexception/ and send along anything it catches.

Alos send (zipped) debug.err in your GalCiv2 directory to gc2bugs@stardock.com
