My Class Zero Replacements (pics)

Hey guys,
These are my class zero human ship types that I use to replace the stock designs at the beginning of the game. Their stats should tell you what they're built for, and you should be able to see where they outclass their stock counterparts. The Lance design is a basic light fighter hull template for use as the early weapons come up. It's meant primarily for early starbase and planetary defense.

very nice man. Im in the process of doing the same thing, though mine arent as good as yours.

I recently "finished" my constructor replacement...though I think im gonna rework it a bit and make the arms symetrical, and probably change the front end a tad.

I put all my picks together in one for ease of use..though they arent as big and that makes it harder to see the detail

The second attempt at making my sensor ship looked a lot like that. Imagine those three wheels completely covered in small satellite dishes and large antennas.

It took some creative thinking to figure out how to make circular hulls, but the results were worth it. The explorerer, pioneer, and worker designs all began with the stock "skeletal" cargo hull.

Ok im pretty proud of this one .. I went your route to try and make a round hull.. that can be kinda tough heh.

Anyway, here is my Sensor ship.

You cant really tell by looking at it..but its HUGE. Just about every peice on it has the slider turned all the way to the right. I would have made it longer but I was afraid id be unable to finish the back of it. due to the zoom heh.

We really need to get a poly counter into that ship-builder...just for fun
