I like the torians dead. They taste like chicken.

The Torians are usually my first victim. The Yor and Drengin look too spiky to take on early.

you're completely right about the Torians, any game I have with them they always dominate and attack half the map. I do hate them, and even more so because they act all nice and peaceful. I am personally hell bent on destroying them.

I do however particularly like the Drath. they have always gotten along with me.

Torians.. eww yuck. Even if they're nice they're influencing a huge chunk of the map.. I take them out first if someone else isn't after them.

During one beta game I completely dominated half a giant map, leaving the poor Torians with a tiny green pond to play in on the minimap. I felt sorry for them and decided to form an aliance. ZOMG. Big mistake. They proceeded to declare war on every single AI, each of which was easily 5 times more powerful, dragging my sorry arse into each war (this was before a change was made to address that very thing from happening). Stooopid slimey yellowy green Torians - I hates them.

me personally the torians i use as a catalyst against the yor most of the time, its the damn terran and there remarkably similar brethren i hate and tend to have show downs with the most....but then again i'm normally .....as dr. evil would say eeeeevvvvviiiiilllll

I despise the Drath. They look like a character out of a Disney movie.. causing me to immediatly blow them off..but in the end they are always stealing my thunder...taking over half the map..etc..etc..

Yor... because I don't think the yor have ever made it past mid game ever since galciv1. Seriously they are useless, ineffectivly evil, mac using loosers. They always get dominated. They are nothing but a bunch of malfunctioning legacy hardware with legs....actually do they have legs? They should be the true scourge of the galaxy..but nooooo. I've got a toaster that works better than they do.

I like the korx though...kind of remind me of greedy ferangi. interesting opponent.

I always take them out first because their way of talking and looking stupid really p*sses me off...

The Torians at first because they always get so many planets and then go to war against many races.... But then the Terrans, because they keet quiet until you totally forget about them and suddenly you realize they're better than anyone else with their economy and they quickly conquer half the map.

Ain't it the truth? That's the exact thing I did in my current game. I'm playing as the Terran Empire (I'm EEEEEEEEVIIIILLLL!) and I sat back with a small chunk of the galaxy, but with several planets. I was able to become buddy-buddy with the Drengin, they eventually turned their territory over to me and managed to turn myself into one of the top 5 most powerful civs with nearly 50% influence (before this I was at or near the bottom). Being patient pays off.

Anyway, the civ I hate the most has to be the Arceans. They keep declaring war on me, and then seeing it was wrong and accepting peace. Only now, I have a military capable of crushing them, given the time of course.

Agh. One of my first 3-4 games in GalCiv1 I allied with the Alties. They did the same thing to me, pulling me into every single war against every minor race in the galaxy. From then on I stopped allying with anyone.

The Torians in GC1 have been a particularly annoying thorn in my side on several occasions. Especially in AP when you have to take them over by culture. I think that darn mission is just impossible on any higher difficulty level.

(I'm still waiting for GC2 to arrive, darn it!)
