Hello, I need some help.

Hello,

I hope I can trouble you for some help, I just registered with Stardock because the website told me I needed it to download Galactic Civilizations 2. I, in particular, want the collectors edition and I currently have a few problems with getting it;

The Walmart where I live does not have it yet (I'm in New Brunswick, Canada) and EB games does not have the collectors edition, furthermore, their shipment was pushed back to next week. After registering, I looked at the purchase page: https://www.galciv2.com/Purchase.aspx and found no traces of any offer for the collectors edition.

I'm ready to purchase my game right away, all I need is for sometone to give me a kick in the right direction. Furthermore, I read a lot of forum posts and none of them gave me the answer I was looking for, so I thought that voicing my need for assistance might help.

Check out the thread "Collector's Edition Special Content" by Avatar Frogboy on the GalCivII News forum. There is a link that will take you to a page where you can register (which would have happened automatically if you downloaded the game) once that's done there is a file you can download which will enable the CE content if you are eligible.

Thanks... Minor problem with that though. Thing is, I didn't get the opportunity to pre-order it because EB Games did not have a preorder available, nor did Walmart (where I live). It is only today that I finally acquired what I need to get it and I really want to get my hands on that Collectors edition (both the box and the game. I fully support these guys). I hope I still get it...

Also, I plan on buying it off of Stardock, the version which they let me download it, and they send me a box. If I purchase it from them in this way, I would like to be reassured that I will get the Collectors Edition tin box. Thanks.

I didn't pre-order the game either, I downloaded it on the 21st but I was still able to get the CE content. So don't give up, it's worth a try. Even if you can't get it you aren't missing out on that much. The only things it adds are about 14-15 new ship components.

The third button on the top left of this web page is called "purchase"; click that. That is how I purchased the game.
