Q about Difficulty

What exactly is the difference between Masochistic, Obscene and Suicidal?
AFAIK Masochistic is: all Algorithms + 200% Production for the AI. So what do the others?

Your on the right track. The AI at Intelligent (one step above bright) is playing with all the AI's algorithms running and is or has the same access to data and money that you the player does.

At levels above intelligent (where it starts to read more than painful) the AI is simply given more cash to play with. With more cash they tend to trade techs more, buy buildings that much more soon, upgrade buildings faster, buy ships straight out... what was that last thing....buy superprojects before you can.
