A request on Ship Designs

i played the beta, so i know more or less how Gal Civ II works. i also know that people are going to be creating the're own personal ships, many which are orginally designed, others based on popular sci-fiction. my request is this: when uploading your designs, please include screenshots if possible, a short describition, what size the ship is, what hull style it is (don't want to be playing with a Yor style only to learn it's Human), what techs are needed to get to it (remeber you don't get all medium hulls at them same time), if you must include weapons on it, release 2 versions: one with weapons, and one without, just so people who don't focus on one paticular path of reseach can still use it. Please? 
sorry to nag, but i only post this, because in the metaverse section, under library and ships is something called tman mods, which i have no idea what that is, and if we get flooded with 50 of them, no ones going to download any of them
On that note, i look forward to all the ships we will see, and the great diversity of ship designs.
An afterthought: has anyone given any thoughts to somehow holding contest for ship design? each one would have a different them, like best Dregin medium hull design, or closet approximation to the Enterprise using only "out of the box" parts and ship hulls?
