Alien governements?

If you play as an alien (non-human) factions, do you still choose a political party?

I can't see the Drenghins being led by a pacifist party, for instance.

Yes, any race can be any political party... with any bonus picks to your liking. You can change your name... homeworlds name... UI color... ship color... etc etc etc.

In fact, at the start of each game the AI players randomly choose a party. In my last 10 or so games, the Drengi have never been the War Party...interestingly enough.

I would like to see certain races having a prefference for certain political parties. For example, there could be a higher chance that an AI Drengin would be War Party than Pacifists.

Unlikely to happen. I mean, if you can make any race any alignment, why not any party?
