Pre-Order Question

I pre-ordered the game late yesterday evening. The final screen with my order ID said that an email would be sent to my account with a copy of my receipt. So far, the email has not arrived. Should I be worried that there was a problem with my pre-order, or is this is the standard operating procedure.

I have not recieved my email either. I did print the page with my Order ID, though.

I foolishly ordered while on my laptop (which doesn't have a printer connected.) However, I kept the window open, so I'll at least write down the order ID tonight when I get home from work. Thanks for the reply. At least, I know it wasn't just me

I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that since its a preorder Stardock isn't sending out the email (or charging) until its shipped.

I recieved the receipt e-mail within an hour or so. They're not charging, or sending the temporary serial number until later.

I wonder then if it has to do with the ISP issues I saw mentioned in another post. Could someone look into this for us?

I just pre-ordered and got my e-mail receipt in a minute or so. Maybe you should e-mail support. I don't know the address but I'm sure it's somewhere in the forums. Try a search.

Preordering with tokens I did not receive the email but when using the Stardock central "lookup serial number" function I did got an email with the key. So I am officially not worried

Greetings - If you pre-ordered last night you'll get a pre-authorization for your credit card for GalCiv II. Your credit card won't be charged (and you won't get a final receipt) until the game is released.

I actually pre-ordered 2 nights ago, but it sounds like that might still apply? I haven't received any emails since ordering 2 nights ago. I just did a serial number lookup and all of the serial numbers that were found were only for: the original Gal Civ and the drengin.net upgrade which I purchased when Gal-Civ first came out, as well as the Stardock component program (I think that is what it was called.)

Ahh, I just looked and the authorization did go through on the card, so I'm no longer worried. I guess I'll get an email with download instructions when the game is released. Will I still be able to pre-download files next week?
