Should pirate ships give no experience

Should pirate ships give no experience

I was playing with a thought that pirate ships and perhaps militia as well should give no combat experience at all or perhaps make it ridiculously low exp points

With todays games players tend to rush titan and then farm it on pirate base....

While valid strategy to get stronger titan many times employed by me as well perhaps it shouldn't be so. A lot of times player who has better path to pirate base will get there first and therefore have a map given advantage.

What do you think regarding pirate bases....

With militia this would be double edged sword as that would mean caps as well would be slow to lvl up....

This thread is discussion regarding levelling your titan on ships that are in pirate base gravity well and If it is OK as it is or  not. Not pirates overall.

Lower the Xp or make it so that the titan cant get xp from Npc.

Won't affect caps and then there wouldn't be a rush to the piratebase.

I think its pretty hax how some titans (ah hem eradica) can solo pirate base in a few mins and come out at fkn lvl 3/4...

Disagree.  Pirate XP was already lowered, and you can only go from lvl 1 to lvl 3 with titan on pirate base, not a big deal.  Your idea also impacts TEC loyalist, as they are defensive for a very long time and would rely on pirate/militia XP to level their caps.

I agree.  A viable TEC Loyalist strategy is to not put bounty on opponents so there is a better chance of them coming at you, and you just have your titan defend a planet w/o any capital ships.

Understood.. I'm just pointing out that you can also inadvertly (is that spelled right???) raise your opponants titan level by constantly sending pirates to attack them.  One might think your gaining some gametime or whatever by keeing them distracted, but you also might be building up an enemy titan's XP in the process.  It's sort of the same thing, except in reverse.... instead of building up your own titan in a pirate gravety well, by purchasing the pirates to raid your enemy, you also might accidentally be building up that enemies titan and cap ship XP instead of your own....

Well you do have a point...

But sending pirate raids on enemy happens in noob games or player vs AI games only. In those games LVL ing titan on pirate base militia doesn't really mater. Noobs won't really figure out strategy like this given they still have problems with expanding etc. In games with  AIs... AIs will give yo all experience you will ever need.

My complain-suggestion works mostly for skilled or semi skilled games where "stronger or more advanced" strategies come in play...

Just FYI, most skilled games have pirates turned off, so buying missions is a moot point Jim.
