[MOD] Free Instant Mod

This is a mod I made, intended for sandbox single player games.
Took about an 3 hours to make, and I did it in one sitting (btw, I have a life, and a very good one at that, haha)
 
What this mod does:
Economy is no longer a factor in SoaSE
Construction and Reasearch times for all technology, Capital ships, Frigate and Cruisers are reduced to 2 seconds
Constructing and Researching cost 0 credits, 0 metal and 0 crystal.
Some Minor "Balancing"
The max number of Capital ships after reaseaching is 20
Capital ships now take up 20 supply each
Frigates and Cruisers now take up 1 supply each
Starting Supply is 100 and increases by 60 for each upgrade if supply numbers are kept normal in game options.
Other Changes:
The Max trainable level for capital ships are now up to 10, which also cost nothing, and take 2 seconds to train each level.
The Economic AI has now been changed to somewhat "make use" of the mod,
The Econimic AI will now (in theory)
Create Fleet like an Agrresive AI
Reseach technology like a Research AI
and build Defenses like the Defensive AI
Colonizable Planets now have more Logistic Slots and Tactical Slots
Usually when you press shift you will que 5 ships or buildings at a time, it has been changed to 10
Allegience levels have been increased just for the sake of it.
Notes:
You will find that some Abilities and Research has now become redundant.
Fighter and Bomber construction times were left unchanged on purpose.
This Mod was intended for those gamers who enjoy sandbox games and massive battles against the computer.
This Mod was not intended for use on multi-player games, as it would need serious balancing.
I may consider making a multi-player balance version of this in the future, depending on demand.
The Phase node Ability to call on the Dark Fleet was left as was, anyway, its redundant now.
The mod is currently being processed by the WinCustomize site (11 September), it should be up within the next few days

If you also went with Filefront, you could have it up in 15 minutes.

yeah, i'll do that,
But it seems that beta 2 (V1.1) has come out for sins, I have to check if it will work for it or not.
After I have checked and made the required changes, I will release the working version on both Wincustomize and Filefront.

ok, the beta 2 (V1.1/V1.095) works fine with my mod as it is as far as i can tell.

Ive got a problem with this mod. After some ingame minutes the game crashes: it says "saved Mini dump" and then theres a unexpected error :|.

 

I copied the ENTITY files in my original GameInfo folder, into the GameInfo folder of an other mod and also tried to launch dannys mod normally per options ... nothing worked fine. By the first two points theres this damn error, by the third way the mod doesnt even start...

If you're running a different language, you probably need to change the name of the english.str file.

I also tried this ... but in the mod folder wanst a string file. So I copied a string file from another mod and renamed it ... maybe that is the problem

Ah. It doesn't. Copying one from another mod may cause a conflict. You might try copying the str file from your install directory.

Did you copy the other file before or after it crashed?

Have you updated your game to the beta 2 or 1 version?

M< game says patch 1.5, so the mod is just for the beta? hm... well I`ll try to copy the original str. file. Thanks for the fast answers.

yeah, it should say 1.09 or 1.095 at the bottom left hand corner in the main menu when you load sins up
