Editing .window and .brushes

Hey guys, i've made some new research icons for my personal mod but i have no idea how to even open .brushes and .window files to make new entries for these icons. Is there a plugin or do i have to convert these files? Could someone please point me in the right direction

There are text versions of these in the mod pack download, which you can edit with Notepad :)

Ah there it is. thank you. Must've overlooked that hehe..

Ok new problem; once i put in those files, my main menu disappears. Do i have to convert these back to binary for them to work or did i do something wrong somewhere?

You don't need to convert them back to binary, so you did something funky. The entire Window folder needs to be present in the mod folder for it to work, not just your modified files :)
