Help with a flagship

Hello all,
When you build your first capital ship, it gets denoted as your Flagship, but (for me at least) if you build a 2nd capital ship, and it's level equals or surpasses the 1st, the Flagship label goes away. I noticed during my last game, and I regretted not knowing which Kol was the original. I know that it's somewhat trivial, but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to disabling what makes it change. I'm not sure if it's even possible, but I thought someone might have stumbled across it. I looked around but perhaps I missed that line, or perhaps it's not available to us.

 Thanks

all capships have custom names and they can be renamed. SO you could rename your 1st ship to "Flagship".

I'm aware that you can rename them, but even with a custom name, which I regularly do, the flagship denotation is still there. At least, until the 2nd cap reaches it's level. Since it's separate, and obviously has some type of constraint on it, I was hoping it would be "mod-able". Anyone know?

Finally someone mentions this again! I brought up this annoyance and know exactly what you are talking about Kodiak. I don't know if you can fix this by doodling in the scripts but its worth a try. I'm in NJ now so I can't help you look for a script but you should try finding one that refers to Flagships and my guess is that it would be in the gameplay constants script. There might be a chance that you can fix it in there. As I said, I kept bringing this up (in things like "what do you want in the next patch" and I always said "Fix the flagships!") Of course nobody listened to me and though it isn't really important, I always like knowing I have a flagship! I also think they should put a designate flagship button as an option and give flagships some sort of combat bonus or something extra.

(Sorry if this was sort of rant-ish)

I browsed through the files I thought might contain the information, including the gameplay.constants but I didn't see anything related. It might be something in the UI interface, which I also browsed through the files for, but again, failed to see anything that looked like what I needed.
