When do I know Rebellion has been updated? Steam and Stardock problems

Hi guys this problem I have is related to updates and steam account. Ok I'm new to this but I wanted to ask how do I know if SOE Rebellion has received updates? does the version number on the bottom right hand corner of the introduction/menu screen change when its been updated? (for example update 1.37 will change the version number on the introduction/menu screen to v1.37). Also my steam account doesn't show that Rebellion has been updated (it may not have been) and I cant find a way to put in rebellion into my games list in my stardock account. I have trinity on disc (I have rebellion on disk too) and its in my stardock account already updated. Any guys you could help me would be great.

Um, I think you might be somewhat confused. There has never been a Rebellion version 1.37, but 1.37 is the current version of Trinity.

 

The current version of Rebellion is 1.52, you should see this in the lower right hand corner in the main menu screen.

Is v1.524792 the fully updated version? I mean, has it automatically updated itself when it was installed? (1.79 beta, 1.51 update etc).

For Rebellion, Steam will always install the newest version, if you have auto-update on, it will update every time you log into Steam if one is available. Some people complain it updates even when you have the option off.

Thanks for the help. Any ideas of how to solve slow game play? I have a brand new asus g750gx with 4th gen i7 cpu, 32gb of ram and 3gb video card. Im a little disappointed that is running so slow with these specs :(
