This is very true.  Getting beaten by experienced players and being able to watch replays and dissect what they did and to try to figure out what you did wrong is a great way to get better.  That's how I learned much of what I know about the game.

This is for SINS. Not against smurfs. I have proposed a valid thought:

Main accounts w/ many games will show new players that this game is worth sticking around for... just like I am.

If you disagree, then say why? If you agree, then take some pride in your clans that you are "supposedly" smurfing to play with-put on the tags. Make people SEE what it's like to be in BIA or DT or SB etc. etc.

Btw, Sunny boy, the passive-aggressive recovery center called and said you weren't accepted for being too straight forward but not really saying anything that is ever remotely meaningful.  They did say to try again if you are ever able to string together any consciousness stream other than the relentless self aggrandizing diatribe.

Personally I think zoomers is right if thats who you are referring to here.  I do not understand how you think he is being passive aggressive though since he has been actively and vocally against smurfing for quite some time unless you confuse the meaning of the phrase.  He is at least trying to remain positive and encouraging in his attempts to curb people from smurfing rather than tossing insults at those on the other side of the fence.  If you are referring to sunny/blackhawk then maybe you are closer to the mark.  He wouldn't be sunnyhawk though if he wasn't self aggrandizing.  (I read it wrong to begin with thinking the 2nd page was the only page so I didn't see sunny as having posted to this thread)  Sunny could play with clan regardless of his smurfing status so thats really only an excuse.  He has smurfed me before and I was none too pleased with it.

Personally I think the majority of smurfs are cowards and deceivers who hide behind anonymity to get their kicks at the expense of everyone else.  No offense sunny but its true.

Greyfox I smurfed you once, and by smurfing you, I mean i never went against you head to head, I smurfed with SB for a while, but that was it.

By me meaning 'playing with my clan', I meant playing with the likes of Flipkik, howler, reborn and hack back in the days, thats the reason I smurfed before, and that gradually slowly faded. I smurfed more before I quit to learn new tactics like I said, at the end of the day, that is my right to smurf.

It doesnt help when everytime a new smurf comes up, its either me or quar framed as being that smurf. The funny thing is, people still think I am F-35 lol.

I aint mate, but when people blame ICO problems on smurfing, it annoys me, I come on the forums to offer advice to other people, but every thread I come on now, the same few people mention smurfing as a MAJOR problem why new people are afaird to play this game online.

The fact is, there are alot more pressing issues we can sort out first to help make sins grow, but by keep mentioning smurfing as an issue, we will get no where. This thread, as so many others Zoomers has posted, has got us no where.

you can keep kicking players out of games (smurfs) , but at the end of the day, smurfing is here to stay. Either stick with it, or well, dont'.

There are certainly other reasons why sins has not grown and is not more popular online than it is.  Smurfing is one of the reasons though and one the players can change themselves.  In my opinion there is little legitimate reason to smurf.  If you want to try new things, there is no punishment for doing it on your main.  Stats are meaningless in this game.  You do not lose rank or standing.  We all have our good games and bad games whether we try something new or not.  If you smurf to play with clan or friends, then that is stacking the team in your favor because your opponents do not know your skill and the side you want to choose you(IE your clan or friends) does regardless of the intentions doing it.  If you want to play with clan or friends that are skilled then try to get a 4v5 or 4v6 to offset the advantage you get by playing with more reliable teammates.  At this point however it is not going to help much.  I am not saying it wouldn't help but that it would be less than if smurfs were eliminated long ago.

For some reason I can't copy and paste atm or I would copy exactly what KL3MZ said.  Basically it was starplayer AND smurfing.  He said that he was "getting tired at the fact that DT can't play together and has to smurf      ends up in stacked games witch can be fun but still annoying".  Quoted from the clan section under Tyr's post "goodbye [DT]  It's not a ridiculous asumption when it was directly from the source in a public forum and it is awfully hard for zoom to twist then.
