In gameconstants, its upgradeperraid =2,
but i dont get it? Does that mean like 2 dmg , 2hull per raid or something?
I have no idea what that is but the rate at which they 'level' their raid strength depends on how many planets and cargo ships you own and how much bounty is on you.
Somehow, i was hoping someone wouldn't say that.
Based on the .entity files, pirates get up to 2 upgrades per raid. And they have a maxnum research of 20 levels. Ill test out that concept.
They do two researches every time they leave on a raid or mission. Choice is random.
Apaarently its 2 successive researches on top of the ones they currently have. So they get to arrive in your face with a cannon thats upgraded 20 times. I modded mine to never research anything ever but gave them 440 supply. 800 supply lags the game.
