The Top 3 Players in Each Clan, Who Do You Think?

Well for DT the top has to be, JJ, followed by tyr, after that its between alot of contenders.

For BIA Greyfox is probably the top, you are up there sunny and I dont know who else.

For DU there is only really 4-5 actively playing members so really decide between them, (_|~Uber,_|~Krath,_|~Jbaum,_|~Scooby Dooby Jew and _|~MS just came back) mind you i dont think there is any arguing that Krath is by far the best in the clan.

and SB the top has to be ferdie, despite your obvious dislike for his stratagy Sunny and i havent seen enough of the others to really decide.

edit, i forgot about 1 guy, Overlord is probably the best in SB, then ferdie after.

best 3 for DT would be JJ, Tyr, and either me star or quar

Bia would be Grey, sunny and minds

DU would be Krath, uber and ink

SB would be Overlord, Deadrat and warfleet

why does it matter, i mean we all know DT owns all

JJ and Tyr are definitely the top for DT.  The third place is arguable.

For BIA, I'd agree it's greyfox for number one but really couldn't say about the others.

For DU... probably Krath and Jbaum, but I'm just saying that because I see those guys on somewhat frequently.

For SB, there's no question that Ferdie is the top.  I've played them all repeatedly, and Ferdie is the most challenging.  Deadrat and either overlord or warfleet would fill out the top three.

Thing about Ferdie is that he's a great stand-alone player, but a terrible team player.  He treats teammates like fodder and virtually never feed, even when his allies can put it to good use.  The best way to beat him is to knock out his allies and turn it into a gang-beat.  He won't feed them, and if they fall he's in a tricky situation. Most of the time when I beat Ferdie it's because I was able to punch through the front line early and menace the pocket, forcing him to fleet up and curtailing that crazy economy of his.

Ive always found its the exact opposite, He is horrible by himself, He has even said that he is poor at fighting off skilled peoples fleets.

Most of the games ive played with him, he has SBed up, gone econ then he fed like mad, once he got a guy on his team to 50 illums not very far into the game.

The problem is in a skilled game they kill his HW and then he is stuck.

Its too bad we havent played many games together Darvin, you look like you would be a great team mate.

If DT were to pick a 3v3 and we got to choose whatever players we wanted to fight for us, my vote would be

JJ- i always feel l ike i'm losing whenever i''m playing him, his micro is out of this world, and he is an extremely adaptive player

Tyr- probably knows more micro quirks then the rest of the community combined.

Howthe- a great supporting player, and an excellent Vasari neutral fighter.

DT i would say jj is by far the best, than tyr and finnally i would say howthe

BIA Grey would be the best than, black, and minds

DU krath, uber, jbaum

SB rat is good and so is warfleet havent played with any of the others besides ferdie

Guess it really depends on the situation.  Certainly once he has a super economy built up he'll part with some money, but if he's fighting on his own front or he doesn't have a big trade chain yet, forget about getting a penny out of him.  As I said, the best way to beat him is to smash one of his allies early and then menace his pocket.

I had a 5v5 against Ferdie just before I wrote that, and his team had lost because he didn't feed.  I won my front with ease because I got fed, their suicide position was killed off with ease because he wasn't fed, and our pocket eventually fleeted up to support our newbie to make a kill on his front. We didn't have a strong eco at the end of the game, but we'd completely ravaged all the front-line players.

Who do guys think are the best 3 non-clanners and why?

Off the top of my head, I really can't make a list.  Too many players, and a lot of them smurfs to begin with...

Elrosh joined SB (or at least I saw him wearing sb tags today), and I gotta say he is awesome. Definitely better than the ferdinator. for SB I'd say Elrosh, Ferdie, Dead Rat. I havent played with Overlord, and warfleets game doesnt impress me.

For DT, Tyr and JJ certainly. for the third I'd go with Quar or Raging Amish. Thats just me tho.

BIA- Greyfox, Minds and Sunny. Id pick Reborn, Archnemesis or Ascension over sunny (no offense buddy) if I'd seen any of them recently.

DU- Krath and Uber certainly. And I guess Jbaum or specter

Non clanners- ooh theres a bunch, hard to say whos better, but heres a couple to think about: EadTaes, fortune, Pawelo, Z00MERS, Citizen General Lu

For Bia its Sunny , Grey and .........Higgy or Minds

For DU its Krath Sunny and ..... Uber

For SB its Sunny, Arch and Dead Rat

I wouldnt put howthe in the top 3 anymore actualy, he's pretty much rusty and vas is so underpowerd he can't get all his potential out

DT-  JJ and Tyr definitely, 3rd place- half of DT ex aequo. Quar comes to mind as being a bit more aequo than rest. Since i enjoy breaking taboos here's one: Siddy is underestimated because he's... Siddy. IMO another close to to 3rd place.

BiA- 1-Sunny, 2-Grey (loves his progen+illum too much), 3- probably Minds

DU- 1-Krath, 2-Uber, 3- probably Jbaum

SB- 1-Overlord,2- Elrosh (huge ego, but good player anyway)3- DeadRat.

BTW ferdie is great expander, but can't fight. He's actually one of the best at art of not-dying, or maybe not-dying-completely. He's like map cancer. Fairly easy to cripple, but his egg is always out there, colonizing... grr.

Best unclanned: Z00MERS, Pawelo, fortune, TuTu in no specific order. Probably some others i can't remember now.

Half?  You way underestimate their smurfing.  They hardly ever play with their main name much less their DT name.  The only time they wear their tags is when they want to play on the same team as a clan(not often).  There are a couple of notable exceptions that wear their tag more often(Klemz and Howthe notably).

also a noteable non clan player is that one guy who has no main account always smurfs i no crystal is him and so is that kabuiki warrior guy
