Trying to get Sins 1.05 working

So, looking over the new release of Seven Deadly Sins I figured I'd give it a go this weekend.

I have my current Sins updated to current version, 1.16?

I know when I first bought Sins I downloaded it to "Archived" so I'd always have a clean version to re-install on a moments notice, here's the problem, for the life of me I can't find where the heck Impulse Archived my Sins download.

Also, Is Sins even able to run both 1.05 and 1.16 on the same computer?

This all seems rather overly convoluted.

Any help on either of these questions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance,

for the life of me I can't find where the heck Impulse Archived my Sins download.

Go to the Impulse orb in the top left, preferences > Folders and it should list the default archive folder. Unless you've cleaned it out, the archive should be there.

Also, Is Sins even able to run both 1.05 and 1.16 on the same computer?

With a little work. What version was your archive? If it's pre-1.05 you'll be fine, and here's what you do:

- Uninstall 1.16
- Install from archive
- Update to 1.05 from a standalone patch (fileplanet, etc)
- Copy the entire installation folder to another location
- Launch Impulse and update again to 1.16

You will be able to run 1.05 from the copied folder, and 1.16 will be your main installation tied to Impulse. Your settings may reset each time you switch versions, but otherwise it'll work.

Excellent, thanks for the quick reply, And yes I did manage to clean out my archive which was why I couldn't find it, I do however have my archived Space Rangers 2, which helps me in no way at all but atleast I was able to track down the archive folders lol.

A freshly archived version of Sins I suppose will be the 1.16 I imagine no?

Add to that I'm not keen on uninstalling my current version of Sins as I've spent a good deal of time adding in my own custom ships and tweaking the various files to my liking, though I suppose I should rummage through those and do a proper back up anyways, nothing like tempting fate with a hard drive crash and literally hundereds of hours of unbacked up work...lol

At anyrate thanks for the quick response Annatar11 I appreciate the help.
