Is it possible to change some default texts (like ship class/names, planet names, etc.)?

I was wondering if it's possible, and if so how easy it would be, to change some of the default text for ship class names, and ship names and planet names.  For example, renaming the first capital ship choice for TEC from "Kol" class battleships to, say, "Thunderer" class battleships, and so forth. And also making changes to the database of ship names that get assigned to newly built ships.  Is Galaxy Forge capable of doing this?

No, Galaxy Forge isn't the answer.  Its in the English.str file in your String folder.  I suggest you download the 1.05 Mod Tools and start poking through that string file so you don't accidentally mess up Sins and have to reinstall before you can play multi.
