Can there be more then 1 "colonizable" planet / asteroid per gravity well?

To replicate the effect of moons? etc..

Also, can we control how far from each other gravity well can be at minimum?

A simple and harsh answer; No.

The final mod tools may say otherwise, but at the present, I don't see a way to do it. And I'm not aware of a way to control the distance between gravity wells outside of the Galaxy Forge. Although, when they do spawn right next to each other randomly, it can get confusing and annoying.

Space Empires 5
AKA Space Empires V
AKA SE V, or SEV ;)

Good game, your traditional 4X game, with huge amounts of research and options. Very fun, but Vanilla AI sucks badly.

I haven't found a way in the random generator for this either. All you can do is make the star system sizes smaller (like 100 or less), and the galaxy size larger. That helps alleviate star systems camping on top of each other a bit, but you can never get rid of it.

What about phase length sliders for controlling distance? I once ended up with a game where phase lanes were so long it took every ship about three minutes for interplanetary travel.
