Goats shall never roam baseball fields, or be allowed within the confines of a base ball stadium.
Black sox will be outlawed to wear in professional games.
And Ghosts shall never walk along side current pros, haunting their dreams of a world series.
A new age of base ball!
Seriously though, IMO, I think that there is a "new age" of baseball coming... I mean, in two years, two "curses", vamoose... Gone, see ya later... In three years, 3 teams that were considered... "average", won the world series... and just happened to beat the "legendary" Bron bombers... (THE SKY IS FALLING!!!)
I think that now, a lot of the lower sal. cap teams will have better chances at competing for big players.
For example, one of my three favrite teams, The D-Backs, have a chance to acquire some pretty good players to "beef up" their roster...
Who knows... perhaps the Expos wil wi- oh yeah, they're not there anymore... well, perhaps...the cubs will win it all next year...
